thought I just needed to slow down. Turns out, I needed to listen. This comic started as a reflection on digital distraction—how we rush through life without noticing our surroundings. But as I wrote and drew, I realized something deeper: Sometimes, the speed isn’t just external. It’s internal. A racing mind. A constant pressure to “do more,” “be better,” “keep up.” Slowing down isn’t just about pausing the world—it’s about quieting the noise within. That’s when I began noticing the people, the places, and most importantly… myself. And even though it still feels selfish sometimes, I’m learning that being present is a gift—to me, and to others.
