There’s a big difference between reacting and responding. When we react, we let our emotions take the driver’s seat. The result? Words we regret, actions we can’t take back, and consequences we didn’t want. When we respond, we pause. We notice what we’re feeling, detach from it, and then choose our next step with clarity. Responding is harder. It takes awareness and discipline. But over time, it builds trust, peace, and strength within us. What’s one situation in your life right now where you could practice responding instead of reacting?
