The problem with combating emotions.

If you think you need to learn how to overcome your emotions in order to get things done, then I don’t think you’re ever going to get anything done.

The whole point of emotions is again to make decision making easy. People who just think can also be caught in the whole analysis-paralysis cycle.

One needs to listen to emotions as just another singling system in the body.

Jiddu Krishnamurthy says that “Observation without evaluation is the highest form of intelligence.”

What that means is, to observe something, whether it be an event external or a set of events internal triggered by the external. To just observe dispassionately, detached from reaching a conclusion too soon.

Only then can we truly see things as they are. Only then can we make the changes we need to make.

A lot of us are waiting for the right time, the right moment, the right feeling, the right circumstances. DON’T!

That might never happen. But if we observe each moment, as it is, perhaps we can see what we need to do in it to make it the best moment we have lived so far.

And constant awareness is the habit that will get us there!
